Admiral Nagala was a flag officer serving in the Colonial Fleet. During the events surrounding the Cylons' surprise attack on the Twelve Colonies, Nagala took personal command of the Fleet from the Battlestar Atlantia following the destruction of Picon Fleet Headquarters. Nagala led Atlantia to Virgon in a counteroffensive, but due to the CNP hacking, the fleet was disabled and Nagala died aboard the helpless Atlantia.
