Brenik was a small military vessel, with a crew complement of 75. During the second year of the Cylon War, Brenik was attacked and boarded by Centurions, who attempted to capture the ship's fire control room in order to kill the crew by releasing air pressure out to space. The crew fought a bitter struggle to stop this from happening, with only 20 or so surviving the attack. Humanoid Cylon Saul Tigh was given false memories of having been an enlisted gunner's mate during this incident.
